Kids who grow up in poverty, witness domestic violence, or face issues like mental illness or neglect, are less likely to reach developmental milestones, make meaningful connections, finish high school, and build successful lives. United Way works with partner agencies to put children and youth on a path to success by investing in their mental health, leading them on a path of well-being from intergenerational trauma, and supporting them to finish high school and successfully transition to adulthood.
